Mark Ameli has been an attorney and a litigator for the past 29 years. He is licensed to practice law in the State of California, in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and in the United States Supreme Court.
He has tried numerous jury and non-jury trials and has extensive civil litigation experience. During the last 15 years, he has been an arbitrator and mediator. He has mediated and arbitrated hundreds of cases. In his practice as a mediator, he concentrated on mediation of cross cultural disputes and he authored a paper on the subject. This paper has been published in the American Bankruptcy Institutes Court Administration Committee Newsletter and used in Los Angeles Superior Court Civil Harassment Mediation Training Manual. Mark Ameli is a highly experienced litigator and a seasoned trial attorney. Mark is married to Guity Javid, who is one of the founding partners and a Senior Managing Director of Spring Street Capital. He has three children, Chantelle, who is a talent agent with DDO Talent Agency, Negeen who is the Assistant Controller of Spring Street Capital, and Jonathan who is presently studying medicine at University of Vermont.

About Mark

He has received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California at Berkeley, a Masters of Arts degree from University of Southern California, both in economics and a Jurist Doctorate degree from University of West Los Angeles, School of Law. He has subsequently participated in educational programs on negotiation and mediation from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University and PON at Harvard.
